【摘要】:Thisbendtestprovidesinformationastotheformabilityortheabilityofcopperandcopperalloystriptoresistcrackingwhenbeingformed.Thistestmethodcanbeusedasaqualitycontroltooltodetermineifmaterialwillformtoagivenradius.Thistestmethodisalsousefulinresearchanddevelopmenttoprovidedataforuseinselectingaspringmaterialthatwillsafelyformtothegeometryofagivenpart.Theresultsaresuitablefordirectapplicationindesignandmanufacturing,onlywhenallfactorssuchasthegeometryofthepart,punchanddiedesign,lubrication,stampingspeed,andothermaterialpropertiesareknown.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthetechniqueofbendtestingcopperandcopperalloystripsamplestodetermineproductformabilityortheabilitytoresistcrackingwhenformingabendaroundaspecificradius.Thecriterionforfailureistheoccurrenceofcracksontheouterradiusofcurvature(convex).1.2Thisbendtestislimitedtostripfrom0.003toandincluding0.031in.thick.(0.076toandincluding0.79mm).1.3Thesizeoftheformingradiiusedinthistestshallbe0.005toandincluding0.250in.(0.127toandincluding6.35mm).1.4Units-Thevaluesstatedininch-poundsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
