【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftheclosedcupflashpointofpetroleumproductsandotherliquidshavingflashpointsbetween-30℃and70℃inclusive.Howevertheprecisiongivenforthemethodisonlyvalidforflashpointsintherange-5℃to66,5℃.ThisstandardisnotapplicabletowaterbornepaintswhichmayhoweverbetestedusingISO3679.NOTES1Thismethodshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions,andshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.2Flashpointisusedinshipping,storage,andhandlingandsafetyregulationsasaclassificationpropertytodefine"flammable"and"combustible"materials.Precisedefinitionoftheclassesisgivenineachparticularregulation.3Flashpointmayindicatethepossiblepresenceofhighlyvolatilematerialsinarelativelynon-volatileornon-flammablematerial.4Sincethepresenceofsmallproportionsofhighlyvolatilematerialsneedtobedetected,thistestshouldbethefirstdeterminationonareceivedsample.5Liquidscontaininghalogenatedcompoundsmaygiveanomalousresults.
