【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthemanufacture,performanceandtestingofemergencydevicesmechanicallyoperatedbyeitheraleverhandleorapushpad,forusewhereapanicsituationisunlikelytoarise.TheEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifyanyparticulardesignofemergencydeviceandonlysuchdimensionsasarerequiredforsafetyreasonsarespecified.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverspecificdevicesintendedforusebytheseverelydisabled.Duetothewiderangeofdisabilities,suchdevicesandtheirperformancesshouldbeagreedbetweenspecifierandmanufacturer.EmergencydevicescoveredbythisEuropeanStandardareforuseonhingedorpivoteddoorleavesonly,notexceeding200kginmass,2500mminheightand1300mminwidth.ThisEuropeanStandardcoverstwospecificdesignsofemergencydevices:thosedesignedforuseonsingleleafdoorsonly,andthosespecificallydesignedforuseonsingleleafdoorsand/ordoubledoorsets.ThisEuropeanStandardcoverstwospecifictypesofoperation:Emergencydeviceswithleverhandleoperation,typeA(see3.9,Figure1andFigure3)andemergencydeviceswithpushpadoperation,typeB(see3.15,Figure2andFigure4).ThisEuropeanStandardcoverstwocategoriesofdevicesprojectioninordertomaximizethewidthoftheescaperouteandminimizetheprojectionfromthedoorfacewhereeitherorbothofthesecriteriaareofimportance(see4.1.13).Thesuitabilityofanemergencydeviceforuseonfire/smokedoorassembliesisdeterminedbyfireperformancetestsconductedinadditiontotheperformancetestsrequiredbythisEuropeanStandard.AnnexBindicatesadditionalrequirementsfortheseproducts.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverpanicdevicesoperatedbyahorizontalbar(seeEN1125),orelectricallycontrolledpanicandemergencyexitsystems,standardsforwhicharepresentlybeingdeveloped(seeAnnexE).
