【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesatestmethodandtheminimumrequirementsforbactericidalactivityofchemicaldisinfectantproductsthatformahomogeneous,physicallystablepreparationwhendilutedwithhardwater-orinthecaseofready-to-useproducts-withwater.Productscanonlybetestedataconcentrationof80%orlessassomedilutionisalwaysproducedbyaddingthetestorganismsandinterferingsubstance.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoproductsthatareusedinthemedicalareafordisinfectinginstrumentsbyimmersion-eveniftheyarenotcoveredbytheEEC/93/42DirectiveonMedicalDevices.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoareasandsituationswheredisinfectionismedicallyindicated.Suchindicationsoccurinpatientcare,forexample:—inhospitals,incommunitymedicalfacilitiesandindentalinstitutions;—inclinicsofschools,ofkindergartensandofnursinghomes;andmayoccurintheworkplaceandinthehome.Itmayalsoincludeservicessuchaslaundriesandkitchenssupplyingproductsdirectlyforthepatients.NOTE1Themethoddescribedisintendedtodeterminetheactivityofcommercialformulationsoractivesubstancesundertheconditionsinwhichtheyareused.NOTE2Thismethodcorrespondstoaphase2step1test(seeannexE).
