【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoversthecategoryofwateranalysisdiagramsthatusetwo-dimensionaltrilineargraphsasatechniquefordisplayingthecommonchemicalcomponentsfromtwoormorecompleteanalysesofnaturalgroundwater(seeSection)onasinglediagram.Thiscategoryincludesnotonlytrilinear-shapeddiagramsbutalsothediamond-orparallelogram-,rectangular-,orsquare-shapedgraphsthathavetrilinearsubdivisions.1.2Thisguideisthefirstofseveraldocumentstoinformprofessionalsinthefieldofhydrologywiththetraditionalgraphicalmethodsavailabletodisplaygroundwaterchemistry.Note1Subsequentguidesareplannedthatwilldescribetheothercategoriesofdiagramsthathavebeendevelopedtodisplaygroundwaterchemicalanalyses.(1)Aguidefordiagramsbasedondataanalyticalcalculationswillincludethosecategoriesofwateranalysisgraphsinwhichoneanalysisisplottedoneachdiagram(forexample,thepattern,bar,radial,andcirclediagrams).(2)Aguideforstatisticaldiagramswillincludethosecategoriesofwateranalysisgraphsinwhichmultipleanalysesareanalyzedstatisticallyandtheresultsplottedonthediagram(forexample,thebox,etc.).1.3Numerousmethodshavebeendevelopedtodisplaytheionsdissolvedinwaterontrilineardiagrams.Thesediagramsarevaluableasameansofinterpretingthephysicalandchemicalmechanismscontrollingthecompositionofwater.1.4ThemostcommonlyusedtrilinearmethodsweredevelopedbyHill(),LangelierandLudwig(),Piper(,),andDurov().Thesetechniquesareprovensystemsforinterpretingtheoriginoftheionsinnaturalgroundwaterandforfacilitatingthecomparisonofresultsfromalargenumberofanalyses.Note2TheuseoftradenamesinthisguideisforidentificationpurposesonlyanddoesnotconstituteendorsementbyASTM.1.5Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
