【摘要】:Thispracticecanbeusedtoquantifytheperformanceofaprocessstreamanalyzersystemoritssubsystemintermsofprecisionandbiasrelativetothoseofaprimarytestmethodforthepropertyofinterest.Thispracticeprovidesdevelopersormanufacturersofprocessstreamanalyzersystemswithusefulproceduresforevaluatingthecapabilityofnewlydesignedsystemsforindustrialapplicationsthatrequirereliablepredictionofmeasurementsofaspecificpropertybyaprimarytestmethodofaflowingcomponentorproduct.Thispracticeprovidespurchasersofprocessstreamanalyzersystemswithsomereliableoptionsforspecifyingacceptancetestrequirementsforprocessstreamanalyzersystemsatthetimeofcommissioningtoensurethesystemiscapableofmakingthedesiredpropertymeasurementwiththeappropriateprecisionorbiasspecifications,orboth.PPTMRfromAnalyzerSystemsvalidatedinaccordancewiththispracticecanbeusedtopredict,withaspecifiedconfidence,whatthePTMRwouldbe,towithinaspecifiedtolerance,iftheactualprimarytestmethodwasconductedonthematerialsthatarewithinthevalidatedpropertyrangeandtype.Thispracticeprovidestheuserofaprocessstreamanalyzersystemwithusefulinformationfromon-goingqualitycontrolchartstomonitorthevariationinx0394;overtime,andtriggerupdateofcorrelationrelationshipbetweentheanalyzersystemandprimarytestmethodinatimelymanner.Validationinformationobtainedintheapplicationofthispracticeisapplicableonlytothematerialtypeandpropertyrangeofthematerialsusedtoperformthevalidation.Selectionofthepropertylevelsandthecompositionalcharacteristicsofthesamplesmustbesuitablefortheapplicationoftheanalyzersystem.Thispracticeallowstheusertowriteacomprehensivevalidationstatementfortheanalyzersystemincludingspecificlimitsforthevalidatedrangeofapplication.Thispracticedoesnotrecommendextrapolationofvalidationresultsbeyondthematerialtypeandpropertyrangeusedtoobtaintheseresults.Inaddition,usersarecautionedthatformeasurementsystemsthatshowmatrixdependencies,biasinformationdeterminedfrompurecompoundsorsimplemixturesofpurecompoundsmaynotberepresentativeofthatachievedonactualprocessorproductsamples.1.1ThispracticedescribesproceduresandmethodologiesbasedonthestatisticalprinciplesofPracticeD6708tovalidatewhetherthedegreeofagreementbetweentheresultsproducedbyatotalanalyzersystem(oritssubsystem),versustheresultsproducedbyanindependenttestmethodthatpurportstomeasurethesameproperty,meetsuser-specifiedrequirements.Thisisaperformance-basedvalidation,tobeconductedusingasetofmaterialsthatarenotusedaprioriinthedevelopmentofanycorrelationbetweenthetwomeasurementsystemsunderinvestigation.AresultfromtheindependenttestmethodishereinreferredtoasaPrimaryTestMethodResult(PTMR).1.2ThispracticeassumesanycorrelationnecessarytomitigatesystemicbiasesbetweentheanalyzersystemandPTMhavebeenappliedtotheanalyzerresults.1.3Thispracticerequiresthatboththeprimarymethodagainstwhichtheanalyzeriscomparedto,andtheanalyzersystemunderinvestigation,areinstatisticalcontrol.PracticesdescribedinPracticeD6299shouldbeusedtoensurethisconditionismet.1.4Thispracticeappliesiftheprocessstreamanalyzersystemandtheprimarytestmethodarebasedonthesamemeasurementprinciple(s),or,iftheprocessstreamanalyzersystemusesadirectandwell-understoodmeasurementprinciplethatissimilartothemeasurementprincipleoftheprimarytestmethod.Thispracticealsoapplies......
