【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecovershowtoobtainandusedatafromin-situmeasurementoftemperaturesandheatfluxesonbuildingenvelopestocomputethermalresistance.ThermalresistanceisdefinedinTerminologyC168intermsofsteady-stateconditionsonly.Thispracticeprovidesanestimateofthatvaluefortherangeoftemperaturesencounteredduringthemeasurementoftemperaturesandheatflux.1.2Thispracticepresentstwospecifictechniques,thesummationtechniqueandthesumofleastsquarestechnique,andpermitstheuseofothertechniquesthathavebeenproperlyvalidated.ThispracticeprovidesameansforestimatingthemeantemperatureofthebuildingcomponentforestimatingthedependenceofmeasuredR-valueontemperatureforthesummationtechnique.Thesumofleastsquarestechniqueproducesacalculationofthermalresistancewhichisafunctionofmeantemperature.1.3Eachthermalresistancecalculationappliestoasubsectionofthebuildingenvelopecomponentthatwasinstrumented.Eachcalculationappliestotemperatureconditionssimilartothoseofthemeasurement.Thecalculationofthermalresistancefromin-situdatarepresentsin-serviceconditions.However,fieldmeasurementsoftemperatureandheatfluxmaynotachievetheaccuracyobtainableinlaboratoryapparatuses.1.4Thispracticepermitscalculationofthermalresistanceonportionsofabuildingenvelopethathavebeenproperlyinstrumentedwithtemperatureandheatfluxsensinginstruments.Thesizeofsensorsandconstructionofthebuildingcomponentdeterminehowmanysensorsshallbeusedandwheretheyshouldbeplaced.Becauseofthevarietyofpossibleconstructiontypes,sensorplacementandsubsequentdataanalysisrequirethedemonstratedgoodjudgmentoftheuser.1.5Eachcalculationpertainsonlytoadefinedsubsectionofthebuildingenvelope.Combiningresultsfromdifferentsubsectionstocharacterizeoverallthermalresistanceisbeyondthescopeofthispractice.1.6Thispracticesetscriteriaforthedata-collectiontechniquesnecessaryforthecalculationofthermalproperties(seeNote1).Anyvalidtechniquemayprovidethedataforthispractice,buttheresultsofthispracticeshallnotbeconsideredtobefromanASTMstandard,unlesstheinstrumentationtechniqueitselfisanASTMstandard.Note18212;CurrentlyonlyPracticeC1046canprovidethedataforthispractice.Italsooffersguidanceonhowtoplacesensorsinamannerrepresentativeofmorethanjusttheinstrumentedportionsofthebuildingcomponents.1.7Thispracticepertainstolight-throughmedium-weightconstructionasdefinedbyexamplein5.8.Thecalculationsapplytotherangeofindoorandoutdoortemperaturesobserved.1.8ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.9Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
